where we live
MOSAIC co-op is located at the corner of Sherman Ave and Foster St, and is surrounded by lots of big old trees. It's just two blocks from Northwestern University's Evanston campus and half that to Foster station on the purple line. A supermarket, pharmacy, cafés and lots of other shops are a short walk away.
things the house has
The house is older than electricity house with three levels above ground and a basement. We have a work/storage room, two washing machines and two dryers, three full bathrooms, a large common room and lots of large windows. The kitchen's size a little small (though typical of houses this age) but we make up for that with easy to clean, commercial kitchen, steel counter tops, gas range and two large refrigerators. We also maintain a considerable arsenal of herbs and spices.
We have a single and a double bedroom in the basement; a single on the first floor; three singles and a double on the second; and a single, a split single and a double on the top floor.
Most importantly, the house is filled with awesome co-opers!
